I’ve been seeing Yunyi for years now, initially to help with the loss from a close friend’s suicide but continued because of how helpful she was at helping me process other day to day struggles. Yunyi provides a space free from judgment where I feel free to share my honest experiences and feelings. This allows her to make precise assessments of my mental state and thinking patterns which help me gain a deeper understanding of myself. Yunyi has a wide range of exercises to recommend for different situations that help provide new perspective to personal issues. I’d definitely recommend Yunyi for anyone who is struggling with suicide loss or just needs a listening ear.

Yunyi listens with patience and without judgment, giving me a safe space to share my deepest thoughts – thoughts that I couldn’t share even with those closest to me. From the very first session, Ms Yunyi created a warm space where I felt genuinely safe to open up without  fear of judgement or pressure. The conversations were always guided with kindness and care. When we first started, I was in one of the darkest places of my life. In those moments where everything felt unbearable, her calm and gentle presence gave me something to hold onto. She didn’t rush me to be okay. She sat with me in the heaviness and  held space for everything I was feeling. Along the way, we also did somatic experiencing work together, and that process helped me connect with my body in ways I did not know of. For the first time, I began to notice where emotions would show up in my body and how to stay with them rather than push them away. That awareness helped me process things in a more grounded way. She has a natural way of guiding one towards their own insights, while offering thoughtful and compassionate reflections along the way. Over time, our sessions helped me understand the patterns in my emotions and thoughts. I remember leaving each session feeling a little better and more at peace than when I’d walked in.
