Our service:
- Psychotherapy and counselling using a blend of Somatic Experiencing, Gestalt therapy, attachment-based therapy, parts work, and mindfulness.
What we treat:
- We specialise in working with complicated/traumatic grief that may result from sudden death of a loved one such as through suicide/acute illness/accidents/stillbirths/abortions.
- We also treat a myriad of other issues including:
- Grief resulting from non-death losses (e.g. after an unexpected fallout with a friend or romantic partner)
- Self-esteem/identity issues
- Attachment injuries and developmental trauma
- Relationship challenges such as infidelity
- Transgenerational trauma; repeated trauma patterns from generation to generation
- Adjustment issues stemming from life-stage transitions
- Psychosomatic/physical symptoms that are aggravated by stress
- Emotional difficulties, depression and anxiety
- We also welcome individuals who wish to work on self-development in general, to explore their mind-body connection, and to build resilience in their nervous system.
Clients accepted:
- Adults aged 18 and above. For minors, we are happy to refer you to other qualified professionals.
- Due to the limits of our practice, we are unable to take on clients who are experiencing active suicidal ideation, or require frequent check-ins between sessions.
- We have experience working with a culturally diverse clientele. We welcome all nationalities and are an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.
Confidentiality:
- We prioritise your safety and right to privacy. We adhere to the Code of Ethics of the Singapore Association for Counselling. All sessions are kept strictly confidential, unless you are deemed at risk of imminent danger to yourself or others.
- Client data is stored securely in a 256 bit encrypted system, which complies with HIPAA, GDPR, PIEDA, and SOC2, and is accessible only by your counsellor.
